Alex Fargas started his culinary career in the prestigious Hofman Hospitality School in Barcelona, the only culinary school with a Michelin Star. He took flight at a young age working at the 2 Michelin Star La Alqueria in El Bulli hotel, and later moved to Beijing to work with Chef Xavi Franco in Mare Nostrum, and to Dubai at Pisces, an acclaimed fine dining seafood restaurant in Jumeirah.
Alex settled in Hong Kong in 2010 at the helm of Fofo by El Willy, a renowned Spanish contemporary fine dining restaurant and became the founder-president of the Spanish Chefs Association of Asia, actively promoting Spanish cuisine in Asia. He is currently Chef-Owner at La Paloma, Hong Kong’s go-to-destination for casual and stylish Spanish food, and consultant at Quiero Mas, a modern mediterranean restaurant.
