Students will collaborate at every step with a leading designer-maker and his master weaver. From yarn to traditional loom processes, design intervention to final product concept.
Our Loom To Life project allows fashion and textile students to actually make fabric for fashion, using traditional hand looms, and develop concepts, mood boards and even prototypes

PROJECT: HAND BLOCK PRINTING

INSPIRATION
Close working interactions with designer mentors and master artisans, the local architecture, frescos, paintings, vividly coloured clothing and jewellery, all enrich perspectives and inspire imaginative approaches to design.
